That day is here!

I am a Cat person and a dog person, even a turtle person. I am not a bird person but I do get pigeons on my balcony as I put out grains for the. I love them to pieces. My family has always had cats in the house. but that’s because we have a general store and cats keep the rodents away. Nonetheless, I they are awesome!

Now, I live a good 100km away from home on account of my job. My kitty back home (Choti) gave birth to 3 fluffiest kittens and I am the proud grandma at age of 24! Did I tell you I love them?  Now 3 kittens with the cat is more than what my Ma bargained for. She decided to give them up, the kittens went up for adoption and I broke down.

Suddenly it dawned on me; I can have one for myself! A dog is not a justified pet for someone on a 9-5 clock. But a kitty is! I told my parents I wanna have one for myself and they agreed. Yes, my pet is coming home day-after-tomorrow and I couldn’t be happier.

Now my choti  gave birth to two brown and one black kitten. In my town, some uneducated lot considers the black cat as bad luck. When he was born, I made a promise that he won’t go anywhere. I wouldn’t let anyone hurt him. So it just makes sense that I adopt the black beauty!

I have been dreaming of cuddling up to my sweet bundle of joy, of getting him yarn and playing with him. I have even put a litter box out. What I look forward to the most is coming back home to the sweetest mewing of welcomes. He is just over a month old, and is going to be the center of my universe for the time to come.

In this demanding, stressful world we live in, a pet is the release button. Like the pressure cooker has that whistle, I just got mine. I have been praying for a puppy for a decade now but I know the joy of getting my very own kitty is just as fantastic! I am going to talk his ears off, dance with him and more than that I am looking forward to his arrival in my home.

Yes, my beanbag is going to get some cuts, the couch is going to suffer and the milk vessel will go into exile.  My shoes might get gnawed at as will the curtains. But I have braced myself for it all.  I won’t be surprised if I find myself rushing back home during lunch hours, just to take a look at him. Well, let’s hear it for my fluffy-muffin!

BTW: I am goanna call him pixie!

  1. My spouse and I absolutely love your blog and find most of your post’s to be just what I’m looking for.
can you offer guest writers to write content for yourself?
I wouldn’t mind creating a post or elaborating on most of the subjects you write concerning here.
    Again, awesome site!

  2. Having read this I thought it was very informative. I appreciate you
taking the time and effort to put this content together.
I once again find myself spending a lot of time both reading and leaving comments.

But so what, it was still worthwhile!

  3. I’m really loving the theme/design of your blog. Do you
ever run into any internet browser compatibility problems?
A handful of my blog readers have complained about
my blog not working correctly in Explorer but looks great in Chrome.
Do you have any tips to help fix this issue?

  4. I do trust all the ideas you’ve introduced in your post.

They’re really convincing and can definitely work.
Nonetheless, the posts are too quick for starters.
May just you please prolong them a little from next time?
    Thanks for the post.

  5. First of all I would like to say fantastic blog!
I had a quick question that I’d like to ask if you don’t mind.
I was interested to find out how you center yourself and clear your thoughts before writing.
I have had difficulty clearing my thoughts in getting my ideas out there.
I do enjoy writing but it just seems like the first 10 to 15 minutes are usually wasted simply just trying to figure out how to begin. Any suggestions or hints?
